In most martial arts you are working with set patterns
It does not work like that in real life

Self-Protection actually means doing everything possible to avoid fighting someone
Should you kick a man when hes down - what do you think would be the future actions of someone who just attacked you. Is he going to continue the attack
Choose to walk (run) away or stand and fight - The best defence is not to be there in the first place. If you even think that there will be a problem, Its best to be elsewhere
The best way to handle any attack or threat of attack is to try to get away (This way, you are least likely to be injured)
De-escalating a situation means speaking or acting in a way that can prevent things from getting worse
Understand your surroundings - Walk or hang out in areas that are open, well lit, and well traveled
Our classes can teach you how to size up a situation, then you can decide what you should do and at what level you should choose to do it
